1998 Porsche 993 Carrera S

- One of approximately 493 C2S Coupes built for North America in 1998

- Finished in Artic Silver Metallic over Boxster Red Leather

- Desirable six-speed manual gearbox and extensive options list

- PCA Parade First in Class and multiple concours award recipient

- Just 44,839 Km (27,808 Miles) from new

- Accompanied by its original manual set and factory tools

Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Boxster Red leather, this 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera S was specified with the desirable six-speed manual gearbox. Factory options include 18” Sport Classic II wheels, the Engine Sound Package, limited-slip differential, stainless steel oval exhaust outlets, aluminum-look instrument dials with chromed rings, stainless steel door entry guards, power-adjustable heated seats, leather dashboard and door panels, cruise control, rear window wiper, Becker Porsche CDR-210 CD radio, and a power sunroof. The option sticker further notes Porsche Exclusive equipment (9991), reflecting the car’s highly individualized specification.

This Carrera S was sold new in Canada, but soon after delivery it was exported to the US, where it was subsequently titled in Florida. Accompanying CARFAX and AutoCheck Vehicle History Reports trace the car’s subsequent history through Florida and later Georgia, where it remained for nearly two decades.

Around 2001, this Carrera S is believed to have passed to Robert W. Kuchenbecker of Georgia, longtime Porsche Club of America Peachstate Region member. During his ownership, the Carrera S earned numerous concours accolades, including a President’s Choice Award at PCA’s Visit 3.0 gathering in 2003, First in Class honors in Full Division competition at the 2010 Porsche Parade Concours, and a Sponsor’s Choice Award at the 2017 Porsche Club of America Werks Reunion at Amelia Island.

With just 44,839 km, or approximately 27,800 miles on the odometer, the Porsche has been carefully maintained and preserved. Recently, this Carrera S has benefited from extensive servicing, new tires, and cosmetic detailing.

Representing the final year of 993 production and the last generation of the air-cooled 911, the Carrera S is widely regarded as one of the most appealing variants of the model range, combining the dramatic wide-body appearance of the Turbo with the purity, lighter weight, and rear-wheel-drive character of the standard Carrera. Accompanied by its original books, tools, jack, and air compressor, it represents an outstanding opportunity to acquire a low-mileage, well-preserved, and ideally specified example of one of the most desirable air-cooled 911s.
