1925 Bentley 3 Litre

Chassis # 930    Engine # 914

In 1919 WO Bentley built his first car, the 3 Litre. The early 1920s brought swift success with great showings at Indianapolis and the Isle of Man T.T. Winning Le Mans was next on the list and a 1st was achieved in 1924 following a 4th the previous year.  Another outright victory came in 1927. The 3 Litre is thought to be the most pure of WO's designs and with it, the Bentley Boy legend began.

This particular 3 Litre is a wonderfully correct and original car. This early standard chassis has its very charming, original Gurney Nutting coachwork. The car is completely numbers matching with its original frame and motor in addition to the body.

A 3 Litre is a delightful tour car and chassis 930 is perfect example of this. The car recently competed the several hundred mile Paso Robles Tour in California to add to the substantial list of events the car has participated in.

The car has been here in the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years in the hands of one collector.

This particular 3 Litre is ideal for any individual looking for his first Vintage Bentley, or any collector who is looking for a very correct and proper car.
